When restaurants mail

🎉

Grand opening

Everyone nearby is a potential first-time customer. Saturate the routes around your new location before and after you open.

📜

Menu cards

A menu postcard on the fridge is there every time someone asks "what should we order tonight?"

🍕

Offers and events

A new item, a slow-night special, catering for the holidays. Give people a reason to come in this week.

EDDM

Every home in your delivery zone

EDDM delivers to every address on the carrier routes you choose, so you can cover the neighborhoods you deliver to, or the ones within a short drive, without a mailing list.

Renters and owners both eat out, so restaurants can usually mail every nearby route. If your menu or price point fits a particular crowd, the ZIP Code Explorer shows income and age by ZIP.

From 50¢ a postcard, printing and postage included. 2,500 minimum, 3 weeks to 1 month turnaround.

Your regulars and loyalty list

Have a list of loyalty members or catering clients? Send them a postcard for their birthday, a new menu or holiday catering. Send us your list and we'll mail to each person on it.

$1.10 a postcard, printing and postage included. 200 minimum, 2 weeks turnaround.

Tips for restaurant postcards

  • Lead with the food. One great photo of your best dish beats a collage.
  • Make the offer specific. "Free appetizer with any entree" is clearer than "great deals inside."
  • Add an expiration date. It gives people a reason to come in soon.
  • Track it. A code to mention or a QR code only on the postcard tells you how many people it brought in.
  • Show how to order. Phone, website, delivery apps you're on, address and hours.
How much do restaurant postcards cost?

EDDM postcards start at 50¢ each with printing and postage included; pricing varies by ZIP code and the minimum is 2,500.

How many homes should I mail?

Start with the routes closest to you, where people are most likely to visit or order. Email us your address and delivery area and we'll tell you the route counts.

How far ahead should I plan a grand opening mailing?

EDDM turnaround is 3 weeks to 1 month, so start at least a month before you want cards in mailboxes.

Ready to fill some mailboxes?
